Echoes of Gilgit: A Restaurant Inspired by Mountains and Rivers
Inspired by the towering mountain Rakaposhi the restaurant’s concept was to be based on the region of gilgit. The lush greenery of the area is depicted in the ceiling design. The form represents the mountainous terrains of Gilgit and its flow represents the Gilgit River. The interior epitomizes the rawness of the area with grunge textured walls, a gabion wall with stone filling and a neutral palette.
